red mask   2004-2011

In December 2004, the winter of the tsunami in Thailand, I was very sick. A friend took me to his house in the middle of nowhere in Poland to spend Christmas and New Year. I was feeling miserable, my body and face were swollen and I certainly did not look any better than I felt. But still I wanted to leave a mark at this moment of my life. I decided to portray myself with a red mask.
